ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Toronto Innovation College is registered as a Career College under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. Since 2005, we have been committed to provide occupation-based skills professional training. All of our courses have been designed keeping the current job scenario in mind which combines theory and practical to provide high standard and professional training.

Toronto Innovation College Welcomes International Students to Canada!

Toronto Innovation College is proud to announce that it has been designated as a Learning Institute by Citizenship & Immigration Canada. Toronto Innovation College, designated Learning Institution Number (DLI Number: O19361300542) is permitted to provide international students with education by the Government of Canada.
International students will follow following steps to study the program of their choice –

Step 1.

International student chooses from amongst the following diploma or post graduate diploma programs:

Step 2.

Before registering into the program of your interest you must verify if you meet the English Language Proficiency requirement.

ILTLS academic( Band 6.5 and above) CELPIP PTE (Person English test) Canadian Language benchmark- No matter Which test you take your results will be converted into Canadian Language benchmark) CLB levels run from 4 (poor) to 10 (excellent). When Canadian immigration programs indicate a language requirement, they usually refer to a CLB level
Step 3.

Check the program schedule by visiting the specific program page. It is advisable to apply for admission to the program at least five to six months before the commencement date to allow yourself sufficient time for visa processing.

Step 4.

Document checklist- Ensure you have following documents in the electronic format(pdf,doc or jpg file) when you apply online

  • Proof of your nationality (passport)
  • Highest level of education – (transcripts/diploma/certification)
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency

Note – If you are unable to upload the documents to the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM, you must send your documents to

Step 5.

You are required to apply online. Students must pay a non-refundable Application Fee to be considered by Toronto Innovation College.

Application Fee Amount:
  • $500 Canadian Funds for International Students

In order to ensure that serious student requests are addressed with priority, please submit your application fee prior to requesting additional

information about courses, programs, or visas. Due to the high volume of requests, only genuine inquiries which accompany a fully completed

online application, with application fee included, will be processed. Thank you.

Step 6.

Documents are assessed by the Academic Adviser. Upon positive assessment, you will receive a letter of acceptance within 48 hours.

Step 7.

You submit this letter of acceptance along with your visa application form at the nearest Canadian Embassy/High Commission or the Consulate

to apply for study permit. Visit www.cic.gc.ca to look for branches in your country.

Note: You can request for a letter of acceptance with deferred date of commencement if the visa processing is delayed.

Step 8.

Upon being granted the study permit/visa, you must email the visa copy to Toronto Innovation College International Student Centre at

int.admissions@torontoinnovationcollege.ca 

Note: Toronto Innovation College is required to inform Immigration and citizenship Canada of your change in status if you withdraw, cease to attend classes,

defer your admission or become part-time student.

Step 9.

You can also request for a settlement service for a fee which includes

  • Airport Pick-up
  • Arranging accommodation
  • Assisting in application for Social Insurance Number (SIN Card) – SIN Card enable you to work in Canada during the term of your study
  • Assisting in opening a bank account
  • Media services (introducing internet and cell phone providers)
  • Neighborhood support services (community, religion and social events)
  • All related services to help you settle into the Canadian student culture
Step 10.

Insurance: Toronto Innovation College collaborates with a local insurance company to assist you with your medical insurance.
