Certified Business Analysis Professional – CBAP

Overview
The Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) exam is held by International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). This professional certification is for individuals with extensive business analysis experience.

According to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a recognized expert in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to determine business solutions and is the key facilitator within an organization, acting as a bridge between the client, stakeholders, and the solution team. Responsible for requirements development and requirements management, CBAPs are competent individuals performing a role that is increasingly recognized as a vital component of any successful project. The CBAP certification process includes demonstrating the experience, knowledge, and competencies of a qualified practitioner of business analysis according to requirements designated by the IIBA. Our business analysis training courses prepare you for CBAP certification, delving into the role and responsibilities of the business analyst and providing comprehensive training on building, documenting, communicating, and managing requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 7,500 hours of work experience in the last 10 years
  • Minimum of 35 hours ofprofessional developmentin the last 4 years
  • Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) recipient.
  • Signed Code of Conduct

Exam
The CBAP® exam is 3.5 hours long and consists of 120 multiple choice questions. It is competency-based and aligned with BABOK® Guide Version 3.
